The Tyrant. The King of Rats. The One with a Thousand Childer. Father. Solomon is called with these names and many others by Veneto Nosferatu and the few other Kindred who are aware of his existence.
For many "Solomon" is just an urban legend, a story Nosferatu use to scare other Kindred or hide, under a single fake persona, the operations of a well organized group. The Rats themselves know better though. Solomon is real. A king without a crown that, in time, has gathered around him most of his fellow clanmates, using them as a perfect army of spies. Very little happen in Veneto without the Tyrant being aware of it, and he exploits his network at its fullness, blackmailing other Kindred and selling information - and sometimes not only that... - to anyone willing to pay his price, no matter the Sect or Clan. But this is only a phase. A single step in a path leading to what Solomon considers the true destiny of him and his entire clan. He doesn't want to be merely a Prince or a Baron. He wants to be The King.
And God help anyone standing in his way. Unlike a Ventrue, he's not interested in material power for honor or vanity though: what he really strives to achieve is showing the world that his clan's fate isn't the sewers but a crown. A Nosferatu is tested from the moment is born, and forged in the flames of pain into something great, unique. Solomon is a creature torn by a strong ambivalence: king and tyrant, nobility and cruelty, wisdom and violence, burning hate against the world and fatherly love towards his clan.
Which part of Solomon soul will ultimately crush the other? The entire region's destiny could depend on the answer...
